Bubba's Icehouse is family owned and operated by Bill, Libby and Buck Morgan.

The Morgans have been in Corpus Christi for nineteen years and opened Bubba's two years ago, fulfilling one of Bill's greatest long-term ambitions.

They have a strong background in the hospitality industry where Bill has managed full-service hotels for the past thirty years including the Holiday Inn, Emerald Beach in downtown Corpus Christi which originally brought him and his family here.

Libby likes to say she is a "waitress by trade" and met Bill while waiting tables in one of his hotels. She married the boss twenty-eight years ago and may not be waiting tables but is very hands-on in the day to day operation of Bubba's.

Buck is attending the cullinary program at Del Mar College and waits tables, manages and cooks at Bubba's. He also operates his own catering business, SixBucks Catering with his business partner John Sixta.

Cassy, their daughter, rounds out the family and lives and works in Dallas, Texas.
